Introduction

In addition to running businesses, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Hong Kong are also very encouraged to fulfill their social responsibilities. In 2010, our chamber launched the "Partner Employer Award" to encourage companies to hire local higher education institutions graduates. In 2014, the award was expanded to include employment for disabilities, retrained individuals, rehabilitated persons, retirees, ethnic minorities, and individuals holding qualifications recognized under the Qualifications Framework. We hope to further establish an inclusive society, convey the message of social responsibility, and encourage more enterprises to actively fulfill their social responsibilities and make greater contributions!

 

Looking back at the last session, the number of participating companies has continuously increased, indicating that the recognition of the award is growing, and it has gained wide recognition. The "Partner Employer Award" initiative is a very meaningful activity that truly needs continued support from all sectors to encourage more companies to actively fulfill their social responsibilities and make greater contributions, ensuring a brighter future for Hong Kong.
